Multicultural Education

Markham Elementary School provides opportunities in multicultural education as students engage with their peers from a wide range of cultures (both within the US. and International). These daily and organic experiences increase cultural competency and mutual respect and understanding of diversity, and prepare our students for a future as both multicultural and global citizens. Markham students understand the value of cultural diversity, which gives them a wide platform from which they will engage in the world as future citizens, leaders and decision makers.
