Student Commitment

I will do my best every day by:

  • Staying on task
  • Listening respectfully when the teacher or classmates are speaking and not talking over them.
  • Handling conflict calmly and respectfully
  • Pushing myself outside of my comfort zone
  • Working hard and giving my best effort

I want my Eagle to succeed. Therefore, I will encourage him/her/them by:

  1. Open communication between home and school

  2. Ensuring your Eagle is on time (8:00am) and ready to learn.

  3. Encourage them to be their very best every single day.

  4. Daily check-ins about the school day

  5. Help foster positive relationships with everyone in the Markham community to ensure we have a safe place to learn and play.

  6. Provide students with a place to do their school work and families check-in

  7. Volunteer and be involved in school-wide events
